What gets included
We include a firm, tool or plan when it appears on its own official website and is relevant to marketing teams using AI for design. We do not include a product only because it has an affiliate programme, and we do not take payment for placement.
How lists are ordered
Lists of firms or tools are ordered alphabetically unless a guide says otherwise and explains the method. A list that ranks things states the criteria, and the criteria are applied to the evidence on the page, not to who owns what. No list ranks Noondesk first by default; where Noondesk appears it is labelled "Same owner as this site". See the disclosure page.
How prices and facts are sourced
- A price links to the official pricing page and shows the date we read it.
- If a source blocked us or a page changed, the guide says so and the claim is marked VERIFY until it is checked.
- Prices a company does not publish are shown as "Not published".
- Law and policy points link to the primary text where we could open it, and we say when we relied on a secondary summary.
What we say we tested
A guide only says "tested" when it shows the test: the prompts or brief, the settings and the outputs. Otherwise it describes what the vendor says, what terms apply, and how you can run your own test.
Updates
Each guide shows when it was published and, when changed, when it was updated. Prices are re-checked when we update a guide.
